In Explore 3D Printing you will learn:

  • Understand the basic principles of 3D printing technology.
  • Learn how to operate a 3D printer, including loading filament and initiating prints.
  • Gain knowledge of different types of 3D printing materials and their properties.
  • Learn how to prepare 3D models for printing, including scaling, slicing, and generating supports.
  • How to troubleshoot common printing problems
  • Learn about the limitations and capabilities of 3D printing technology.
  • Gain knowledge of different printing techniques, such as FDM, SLA, and SLS.
  • Learn where to source ready made 3D designs.
  • Learn basic 3D modelling.

Tools Required: All tools required for learning are provided.
Materials Required: All materials are provided.
Take Home: You will take home any 3D prints that you make.
